On Wednesday morning, Israeli occupation soldiers targeted journalist Shirin Abu Akli with direct fire as she covered the invasion of the Jenin camp in the West Bank, killing her immediately.
Although “Abu Akli” wore a helmet and a protective vest to indicate her work as a journalist, the occupation soldiers targeted her with direct bullets and injured her colleague, “Ali al-Samoudi”, who was with her.
Shirin was killed in cold blood. However, supporters of the occupation and some Western media are trying to distort the truth by saying that Shirein was shot dead by Palestinian gunmen despite the absence of any of them, according to testimony from her colleagues who were with her.
This crime confirms that Israel’s occupation continues to commit violations against the Palestinian people, and even journalists have not been spared.
Mercy and peace for the spirit of journalist Shirien Abu Akli and the speedy recovery of journalist Ali al-Samoudi.
